Stillhouse Press takes pride in its work as a teaching press. In addition to paid opportunities for Mason graduate students through the Graduate Professional Assistantship program, there are many opportunities for Mason students to gain professional experience with small-press publishing through volunteer opportunities.
Graduate students – M.F.As and/or M.As
We actively seek reliable volunteers to read, analyze, and review submissions received during open calls for fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and topic specific contests. Exceptional graduate readers may be eligible for volunteer Assistant Editor opportunities on individual book projects. In some cases, internship credit is available for work with Stillhouse Press. For more information, please contact Linda Hall at editor@stillhousepress.org.
