Opportunities
Watershed Lit offers a number of internship and apprentice opportunities to Mason graduate and undergraduate students. These positions prepare students for a wide variety of work in the literary arts, including positions as editors, agents, publishers, and festival event planners.
The opportunities include:
- Editorial positions for our literary journals, Poetry Daily, So to Speak and Phoebe
- Summer Travel Grants for MFA students from the Cheuse Center
- Internships with Fall for the Book providing experience in virtual marketing and communication and the production of virtual literary events
- Graduate Professional Assistantships with Watershed Lit, Poetry Daily, Stillhouse Press and the Cheuse Center
- Mentored teaching experiences with Northern Virginia Writing Project
- Volunteer editorial and submissions work positions with Stillhouse Press
